The administration of Otunba Olasoju Adebayo in the year under review has demonstrated capacities, tenacity, vision and competence in matching promises with actions as evident across the critical sectors of governance at the grassroots with his transformational leadership bringing the new order toward achieving the best governance practices at the local level with the developmental cum progressive governance already set in place in retooling the path governance positioned in meeting the needs and aspirations of the people at the grassroots. The Olasoju-led administration in consolidating on many viable structures and dividends of democratic gains laid in the early days of the administration which centered on Infrastructure renege not his efforts in bringing more infrastructural advancements to the doorstep of the residents with many completed and ongoing projects spanning across the nooks and crannies of the seven-ward LCDA.

Adding to the infrastructure advancement in the council are the latest roads delivered which are Ayo Shonubi, Sijuola, Kogberegbe -phase and among other completed and ongoing projects. Apart from bringing panache and dignity to governance, Olasoju via his blueprint is changing the face of leadership and redefining the system to keep responding to the yearnings of the masses making the people have explicit confidence in grassroots governance with his indelible footprints on security, health, wealth creation and empowerment and continued deepening of community participation which keeps re-echoing the fulcrum on which the administration keep standing on.

In tandem with the vision of raising the bar of governance at the grassroots, the council boss has continued to prioritize the security of lives and property and constant engagement with the security agencies in ensuring that the security architecture is strengthened for effective policing reflected in the peace and stability within the council area. Health: In his relentless efforts of delivering quality healthcare services for the people, he has relatively revamped the primary health centers for optimal delivery while the administration maintained the legacy of free medical outreach for the Elderlies with increased capacity delivery while collaborating with Lion's club on Blindness Prevention coupled with the relaunched of Bola Jigi aimed at ensuring that the residents have access to quality health care. Education: The administration has continued to prioritize education by giving the sector the needed attention as the mirror of the society with huge resources expended in the year towards achieving the best with -Free GCE and UTME for indigent students

• Bursary for students in tertiary institutions Wealth Creation and Empowerment: Various empowerment programs were implemented to ameliorate the suffering of the people especially the downtrodden and also in fighting against poverty among the residents with skills acquisition programs and empowerment programs for small medium scale businesses in the council area. Environment: The administration has expended effort towards achieving a cleaner environment with the enactment of the environmental laws and enforcement coupled with awareness on environmental sanitation and monitoring, regular desilting of drainages, Periodic meetings with PSP operators to enhance maximal delivery, Partnership with LAWMA on advocacy and enlightenment program for residents of the council area. Tree planting exercises for a Green environment and many more are indeed notable achievements and efforts made towards making Isolo cleaner.

Youth and Sports Development: Human capacity development remains pivotal to the administration with the constant touches with the youth. The administration successfully organized Chairman's Cup Tournament with participants adequately appreciated while efforts are geared towards making Isolo sports arena and skills hub centre among others. Social Integration and Cultural Promotion: In the year under review the council chairman expended deliberate efforts on cultural promotion and community integration via sponsorship of Isolo Day Celebration, and Igunoko Celebration among others.

Security: The security operatives in the council area were better motivated by the council boss for optimal performance. A patrol vehicle was donated to Isolo and Aswani Divisions to aid their men's mobility. Welfare: The welfare of the people in the year under review received the adequate attention of the government at the grassroots with various schemes well executed which cushioned the effects of the economy on them with support from the government which ameliorated pains.

These and many more are enough to remain convicted that Olasoju will remain unrelenting in his sincere and celebrate strive towards making Isolo better than it has always been. With the developmental cum human-centric governance recorded in the year, there is no doubt that year 2023 is loaded with many dividends of democracy for the residents and the entire council area. We appreciate the management team, executive cabinet, legislative arm, and the entire critical stakeholders whose support has made the year an eventful, impactful, and rewarding one for the council area in the bid of achieving the Isolo of our dreams.
